Great Food, No Fuss...

Our menu changes with the seasons, ensuring a diverse selection of flavours that celebrate the time of year.
A Warm Yorkshire Welcome...
Our restaurant provides an intimate atmosphere, ideal for couples, families, or small gatherings looking to enjoy high-quality dining in a relaxed setting. We pride ourselves on attentive, personalised service that makes each visit to The Feather & Beak memorable.

Our Philosophy:
Good food starts with good ingredients.
We keep things simple: seasonal produce, plenty of flavour and proper cooking.
We use local suppliers wherever we can, choosing ingredients for their quality and making the most of what’s available each season.
From herbs picked from our own garden to produce from trusted local suppliers, we let good ingredients do the talking!

Looking After Where We Are:
We’re lucky to have 14 acres of countryside around Brickfields Farm, and we’re conscious that looking after it is part of being here.
We’re still learning and developing our approach to sustainability, but we believe small, practical changes matter and we are constantly looking for ways to make better use of what the land around us provides.
We’re continuing to find ways to reduce waste and lessen the environmental impact of the restaurant, working with our team and suppliers to make sensible choices wherever we can.

From Our Land to the Kitchen:
We grow herbs and salad leaves for the kitchen, make use of foraged ingredients in our chutneys, pickles and herb oils.
Things we grow and forage find thier way directly onto the menu. Herbs and salad leaves from the garden are used in our dishes, while foraged ingredients are turned into chutneys, pickles, herb oils and other seasonal additions.
It’s a simple approach: use what we can, waste as little as possible and make the most of what each season gives us.
Making Space for Nature:
We’re lucky to share the land around Brickfields Farm with all sorts of wildlife, from the birds and insects in the garden to the creatures that make their home in our pasture, woodland and water.
We’re committed to looking after these natural habitats and allowing them to thrive alongside us.
For us, being here isn’t just about making the most of the land — it’s about leaving room for nature too.
